Kay Kinosita Awards
 

Kay Kinosita (born August 1, 1895 - died November 25, 1971) was one of the early members of the Great Dane Club of California. She was a genuine grand lady. This award was dedicated in her honor and is presented to members who have given meritoriously to the club. Contributions over and above that of being a good active member are expected in order to receive this award. The Board of Directors votes on names submitted to them before the January Board meeting. This award is not an annual award and should only be given to those who qualify under the award definition and in the spirit with which it was first awarded.
