Great Dane Club of California Approved Breeder List
The Great Dane Club of California is creating a list of reputable Great Dane breeders in
Southern California that you can contact for healthy pet or show quality puppies, get answers
to your questions, or ask for referrals to other breeders in the area.
If you would like to participate, please be sure to include your name, kennel name, location, colors bred, your
phone number or email address, and website or Face Book page when sending your request to
the administrator of the list, Joy DeGruccio
BREEDERS ON THIS LIST MUST:

Have been active or are currently active showing their Great Danes.

Have owned or bred AKC champions.
|
|
| |
3 |
Always health test – Echo Cardiogram, OFA hips, thyroid, and eyes.

4 |
Rehome and/or receive back puppies from their breeding unconditionally.
|
|
| |
5 |
Place all pet/companion puppies on spay/neuter contracts with limited AKC registration.
|
|
| |
6 |
Be a member of Great Dane Club of California in good standing.
|
|
| |
7 |
Be a good mentor to pet and show homes.
|
|
| |
8 |
Always demonstrate good sportsmanship and decorum of exhibitors, other breeders and dogs.
|
|
| |
9 |
Incorporate rigorous standards of quality and care into their breeding programs.
|
|
| |
10 |
Microchip all puppies before they go to new homes. The breeder will be listed as the primary contact.
